Marlborough Living

Well today is an exciting day!  We have featured in the local Marlborough Living magazine with an ad for Studio JQ and a short editorial piece.  It’s a free publication which has quite a far reaching local audience so I’m hopeful that it will help more people find us and get our name out there.  You can find the link to the article here

We don’t yet have a ‘press’ page on our website, but maybe once we’ve featured in some Interiors Magazines for our own work, we’ll have to create one 🙂

Our Instagram and Facebook notifications have been pinging away today with likes and kind notes of congratulations from our peers, we run with a good group and it’s lovely when people take a minute out of their day to send a quick message of support, it means a lot so thank you to you wondrous bunch.

This week is set to be another busy one, Jamie from Fermoie popped down this morning (they’re conveniently just up the road in Marlborough) to show me his wares and drop off some samples.  Then the next few days will be spent booking in more reps to fill the library, putting together some options for window treatments for a little consultation, taking some shots for the website, working on our marketing strategy and hopefully answering some calls off the back of our Marlborough Living article.

On Thursday I’m heading up to London for the BIID AGM and Summer Drinks party, if I make it up there in time I’ll take the opportunity to have a quick whizz round Chelsea Harbour and see what’s new.  The book shop is always a draw for me and I have shelves full of Interiors books – Pinterest and Instagram and great for putting together concepts or finding specific things, but you can’t beat a good book as a source of inspiration and knowledge.

This weekend we’re hoping to see some of our lovely local clients at MantonFest, a music festival just down the road in Manton.  Unsurprisingly the weather is set to be glorious all week whilst I’m in the Studio and forecast rain for the weekend…but we’re optimistic!

We sadly missed Royal Ascot this year but were thrilled to hear local racehorse trainer and previous longstanding client of Quinlan Farriery Ltd, Brian Meehan, had a winner – congratulations to the team at the yard up at Manton and to the owners of Bacchus!

You can follow us on social media @thestudiojq for project updates, interior design tips and other useful interiors related content – go check it out!
